Asda goes crazy for cupcakes

I popped into Asda today to do some shopping on the way home and spotted this giant cupcake for under a fiver. I think I'd prefer a nice freshly baked cupcake myself but thought I'd share :) Could be good for a party I suppose if you can't afford a fresh baked one! 

They also have a tray of what they call "party cupcakes" for under £2 - it seems that anything that's a little cake is a cupcake these days! If they're anything I'd say they're fairy cakes!

They also have some little recipe cards featuring vanilla cupcakes in their baking goods section - although again I'd say they're fairy cakes as they've got royal icing on top!

Hello Kitty loves chocolate

I saw this t-shirt in Asda the other day and when I went back to get it it'd sold out and I was kicking myself. Am deffo going to order it though as its ultra cute and features a cute little chocolate cupcake. Can be ordered online from Asda by clicking here.

Cupcakes keep my cold feet warm!

I seem to keep finding cupcake socks! This time in Asda and for a bargain £1 per pair or 4 pairs for £3! Obviously I bought 4 pairs - I just cannot resist the cupcakes!

We popped into our local Asda this week and I got this really cute plastic plate for £1! They also had water bottles, glasses (tiny kids size) and some bowls (again v.small childrens size) all for under £2!! It's a perfect size for a cupcake, or two :)

Dennis is a menace!

After popping into my local Asda today to pick up a few groceries I was chuffed to see this cute little cupcake covered gift bag (£1.28) and the matching wrapping paper with tags (57p). I also got my chum Dennis a Dennis the Menace cupcake mix (a bargain at 93p) - I'm not sure how they'll taste but it'll encourage him to use his oven - which I'm not even sure he's aware he owns!

Cupcake Pants!

I popped into our local Asda today on the way home and they have 2 different styles of cupcake pants - one pink one with a cupcake on and a blue pair (also available in yellow) covered in cupcakes saying "have your cake and eat it" on the waistband thingy! Unfortunately my store only had size 8 and 10, and my cupcake filled ass wouldn't fit into those so I shall pop to another store and see if they have a more sensible size for me to buy! They're only £2 so worth checking out! You can check them out online here but you can't buy them on there - pain in the butt! I'll have to go to Croydon's giant George store to get them I think!

They also have some cute Hello Kitty pyjamas for a tenner! I did manage to get a quackingly splendid new shower curtain though for under a fiver! Here is Angel planning her next attack on it - she is the reason we go through shower curtains at an astounding rate - she swings off them..bad kitty!
